Question #21560

I am having citation issues. How would I cite a chicago tribune article with no author and a LONG title. MLA format...?

If you can't find author, use Chicago Tribune as a corporate author and year. Make sure in your works cited list you have CT as first part of the entry. Readers need to be able to locate the source by the left hand text, so don't use the title unless that will be the first part of the entry.

in text citation with no known author, just write the shortened version of the title

You use the first two or three words of the title in the parenthetical citation. The MLA style guide tells you how to do this.
